I hate, hate, hate Descartes. His mind/body dualism make my entire project hard for western philosophy. I might avoid treating phil of religion as trying to convince you but take note of the weakness in the argument for later use. That’s what I did.

Does anybody really like Cartesian Dualism? I don’t think I’ve come across one person that is a fan of Descartes in any huge respect. The general consensus is that it is admirable how he tried to suspend all his beliefs in search for truth but he failed when he brought his God back into the mix. I like his writing style as well. He would’ve been a good poet. And anyway, do you like any of the Western Philosophers in general lol?
