So, Neon Genesis?
I’m guessing that the Eva’s are meant to represent Eve. The first Angel from the second impact is Adam that they have cooped up and are trying to re-grow for some reason and the rest are born of Adam and the reason the Eva’s can defeat the Angels is because they’re equal in strength, they said that the Eva’s were made from something from the first impact so I’m guessing that they recreated using Eva’s structure or something and that’s why they’re so strong. And maybe that’s why they can connect to the Eva mentally and feel it’s pain, because the Eva is a part of everyone being the ‘mother’ of humanity? Idk. This is my theory so far.
